The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) is the nation’s leading small business association with more than 325,000 members.
Starting in 2007, the NFIB partnered with Broadnet to host Access Live™ events. Each of these events enabled the NFIB to reach out cost-effectively to their membership on a large-scale and discuss important issues in an interactive and engaging way. Members were able to participate from anywhere in the country and ask questions and answer live polls during the events— without ever having to leave their desks. The organization connected its members with authorities around the country including NFIB leadership, Members of Congress, governors, policy experts and even presidential candidates. This resulted in significant cost- and time-savings when compared to the expensive and complicated logistics of a live in-person event.
There is no way we could get this many members to attend an in-person event with an elected official. Our members are busy business owners, so we bring the elected officials to them–they don’t even have to leave their desks to participate directly.
