On your Live Answer events and broadcasts, you now have the flexibility to choose between leaving a voicemail or redialing recipients who didn’t answer on the first attempt.

LIVE ANSWER VOICEMAILS
With our enhanced Live Answer voicemail feature, you now have the option to allow your live Lobby Greeter to connect with more recipients. If our system detects an answering machine, the live greeting will play up to two times, giving those who are screening calls the opportunity to listen, pick up, and join by pressing 1. Even if they don’t answer right away, your message will still be captured on their voicemail, ensuring they know exactly why you called. This feature helps you increase connection rates and reach your audience.
In just two months, Broadnet clients saw 55,932 conversions from Live Answer Voicemails to live event participation.
The Live Answer voicemail feature is enabled by default, but you can opt-out and choose to redial answering machines if you prefer – just let our team know as you’re planning your Live Answer event or broadcast. Whichever you decide works best, the cost remains the same.
With this enhancement, our Live Answer options can better fit your outreach needs. With multiple product variations, you can now customize how your Lobby Greeter interacts with live recipients, those screening their calls, and those who hear the message on their answering machine.
The Lobby Greeter’s live greeting will play up to two times if an answering machine is detected, giving recipients a chance to pick up and press 1 to join.
We’ll play the live greeting for up to one minute on the recipient’s answering machine. You can set up an inbound poll and integrate it into your script, allowing listeners to call in and participate. Please note that inbound minute costs will apply.
The live greeting will play for up to 1 minute on answering machines, offering flexibility for delivering critical information to your audience. You now have various ways to customize how the Lobby Greeter interacts with recipients based on your messaging needs:
-
The Lobby Greeter can provide general information and allow recipients to press 1 to hear additional, pre-recorded details. This is ideal for delivering important messages from a specific person. Recipients who hear the greeting on their voicemail won’t have access to the pre-recorded message.
-
The Lobby Greeter can deliver all necessary information in the initial script without a pre-recorded message. We recommend keeping the script to 30-40 seconds to ensure recipients hear the entire message before disconnecting.
