Help Veterans Receive PACT Act Benefits

The PACT Act, the most considerable benefit increase enacted in VA healthcare history, will help compensate veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange, and other toxic substances. With PACT Act funds, the VA can help provide generations of Veterans and their families with the care and benefits entitled to them by their service and sacrifice for our country.

Broadnet’s secure suite of services that meet the requirements of FedRAMP can help spread the word to Veterans about recently added benefits that may be available to them.

Access Live™ Telephone Town Halls

Broadnet’s secure telephone town hall solution, Access Live, allows VA medical centers to host virtual and moderated two-way conversations with Veterans by inviting them to participate wherever they are, on any device. The PACT Act has become an important discussion topic during VA Access Live events, with the new benefits being addressed during more than 60 events.

Hosts of these events have:

  • Explained what the PACT Act entails

  • Described the application process and what is needed to apply

  • Used the moderated Q&A feature to answer participant questions about eligibility and types of exposures

  • Streamed the events online to increase their reach, including audio, video, and social media simulcast

Build Targeted Audiences | Use Access Live’s polling feature as a strategic tool to create more targeted audiences. VAs can poll participants to find out who would like more information about the PACT Act and who would like to attend in-person events. Then, they can use that list of interested attendees and the following products to engage with them further.

Given the extensive application process for PACT Act benefits, Access Live events can help VAs ensure Veterans come prepared to in-person meetings with the necessary paperwork, plus let them know what to expect upon arrival and throughout the application process.

Voice Notifications

When reaching older generations of Veterans, there is no better contact method than voice notifications.

Voice notifications are pre-recorded messages sent to phone numbers and can be heard when your recipient picks up the phone or listens to their voicemail. These cost-effective, automated voice recordings can inform Veterans about upcoming in-person events and meetings in their area, inviting potential attendees to begin the PACT Act application process on-site with VA representatives and volunteers available to help every step of the way.

Text Messaging

Our texting product, SMS TXT, provides a secure and convenient way to reach Veterans and provide them with the information necessary to apply for PACT Act benefits.

Texts can include links to sign up for updates about the PACT Act, announce times and locations of in-person screening events, and provide resources for them along the way.
